Community Park Venues
Kingfisher Hall
Large hall that can accommodate up to 500 people at
round tables for dinner, including a large dance floor
and catering space. This hall is ideal for large
corporate of private events. It can also be subdivided
to accommodate smaller events. The hall is extensively
equipped with ceiling fans and has various doors
allowing for free flow of air.
Flamingo Hall
A fully air-conditioned hall which can accommodate up to
200 people at round tables for dinner, allowing space
for a dance floor and serving space. The hall is fitted
with a sound system and data project and is beautifully
decorated in ethnic style. A built in bar is another
special feature.
Pelican Hall
A fully air-condition venue most suited to small
conferences and seminars, or large meetings. The Pelican
Hall can accommodate up to 80 people seated cinema style
with a presentation table at the front. The Pelican Hall
has its own separate kitchenette complete with serving
hatch.
The Eagle Room
Medium size, air-conditioned room
and can seat up to 300 people, ideal for wedding
receptions and conferences. Frequently used for writing
of exams.
Nyoni Room
This cosy, air-conditioned venue can accommodate up to
20 people seated in horse-shoe style and is ideal for
medium sized meetings or training sessions.
Crow's Nest
This outdoor venue, complete with a large built-on bar
area is partly roofed, but is not fully walled, lending
itself perfectly to braai's and other informal events.
The Lapa
An
ideal venue
with a braai stand for company social events. Also has
many picnic benches, fridges and bar counter.
The Arena
Most frequently used by the hot
rod club and concerts (as seen at The Zululand Expo).
Users will have to erect their own stage and arrange
their own sound and specialised lighting if required. |
